Newport, Rhode Island, has always held a special place in my heart, and it was the perfect backdrop for K+B summer engagement session that turned out to be nothing short of magical. The cliffs of Newport and the historic Castle Hill Inn provided an exquisite setting for capturing the love story of this beautiful couple.

We began the session along the breathtaking Newport cliffs, where the dramatic ocean views and rugged coastline set the stage for some truly stunning shots. The weather was absolutely perfect—just the right temperature, with a soft breeze that carried the salty sea air and made the couple's hair dance in the wind. The sun was low in the sky, casting that dreamy golden-hour glow that photographers live for.

As we made our way to Castle Hill Inn, the sun began to dip closer to the horizon, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange. Seagulls soared overhead, and sailboats drifted lazily across the water, creating the perfect photobombers in the background of our shots. The natural beauty of the scene was enhanced by the historic charm of Castle Hill Inn, with its iconic lighthouse standing guard over the harbor.

The lighting was simply exquisite—soft and warm, with just the right amount of contrast to make every photo pop. We couldn't resist taking the drone out for a few aerial shots of the harbor. The view from above was breathtaking, capturing the full sweep of Newport’s coastline with the setting sun reflecting off the water.

As the sun set and the evening drew to a close, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to capture such a special moment in such a beautiful place. Newport never fails to deliver, and this session was a true testament to the magic of this coastal gem.
